This dramatic and elegant restaurant is located inside the Park Hyatt Hotel. Intimate lighting, gold sheered curtains and a lengthy marble bar give this place a regal, yet comfortable air. The chef, Joan Monfaredi is known for her affinity for cooking vegetables and especially mushrooms. Many people come here just to order the mushroom sampler, which contains shitake ravioli, truffle risotto and puff pastry filled with chanterelles. The seafood dishes, which include a seafood ravioli and lobster tail in Calvados butter, are also highly recommended. The extensive wine list is over nine pages long and includes 30 VOAs.
The service is experienced, practiced and professional. Dinner is $100 per person with tip.
