This popular Japanese restaurant that features sizzling flat tabletop grills is located in the Fairmont Royal York Hotel. This is the real deal with whirling knives in the hands of individual chefs at each table. The tuna and salmon sashimi makes the best appetizer and is one of the freshest of raw fish in the city. The grilled eel with rice is also highly recommended. The wine list is sparse so ordering the sake on draft is recommended.
The service is extremely professional and very entertaining. Dinner including tip is $90 per person.
