This modern Italian eatery is located in an old warehouse with exposed beams and pipes in the downtown business district. The menu features items with an unusual twist such as proscuitto served with figs poached in port and cinnamon and whole calmari in orange sauce. Highly recommended are the osso buco (a lamb dish) and the poached pear in mascarpone for dessert. The wine list is outfitted with more than 65 excellent red wines from Italy.
The service is prompt, explanatory and professional. Dinner per person including tip is about $75.
