Canoe which overlooks the Toronto Islands from the 54th floor of the Wellington Building, is the epitome of upscale Canadian dining. Low lighting and gleaming wooden veneer and slate make it a romantic hideaway at night. The view is fantastic too. The food is distinctly indigenous to North America and features dishes such as Manitoba Wild Rice Risotto, Fisher Bay Pickerel, Roasted Red Deer Loin, and Ted's Organic Arctic Char.
If you can't decide what delight to have you can order items from the tasting menu for $85. Service is professional and attentive. The average cost per person including tip is roughly $100.
