Home - Grano Restaurant
This uptown trattoria in lower Forest Hill is a long low dining hall with a lot of framed print and exposed pipes and prints. The menu is filled with interesting snacks including the gorgonzola stuffed mushrooms, grilled chicken salad and artichokes in basil and parsley. Also highly recommended is the Penne semifreddo, which is noodles with tomato, basil and bocconcini and supreme of chicken breast flavored with prosciutoo, sage and provolone. A liquor sodden tiramsu and dark chocolate mud pie are for dessert. Nineteen affordable but good Italian and Canadian wines are available to order.
The service is slow. Dinner per person is about $75.
