This split-level bistro is in Forest hill and features the Toulouse-Lautrec look along with butcher-block tablecloths and impressionist art. Appetizers include greens with goat cheese and boiled with smoky bacon. Entrees include duck giblets and leg over a bed of greens and sausage and smoked port in a red wine sauce. Bourride provencale is a seafood dish with shrimp, calamari, tomatoes and fennel in fish stock. The fruit tarts that are offered for dessert are homemade and the short wine list is well chosen and inexpensive.
To add to the authenticity of the experience all the service is in French. Dinner including tip is $45 per person.
