Home - Mildred Pierce Restaurant
This kitsch but elegant restaurant in the King West new condo district is draped with bolts of shimmering gold organza and shadowed by faux reproduction of Renaissance murals. The menu is eclectic and delightful and features many usual offerings such as the
Cioppino (a broth made from halibut) and Geai Bleu (walnut bread served with pear relish.) Highly recommended is the Steak tartare, the Chicken Supreme (in coconut milk) and the pan-roasted monkfish. Frozen berry mousse with citrus crème anglaise goat cheesecake made from chèvre are the deserts
The service is prompt and solicitous. Dinner is about $70 per person including tip.
