This restaurant in the Bedford Park area is a cross between Swiss and French décor with a fireplace burring merrily in the dining room. Many choose the prix fixe ($24.95); the long regular menu shows much classic French and international influence. Highly recommended is the onion soup with Swiss cheese and thyme crust, the frog's legs in curried tomato sauce and the duck legs in blackberry sauce. The otherwise humdrum wine list includes a few select choices at welcome prices.
The service is friendly but erratic. Dinner costs $60 per person including tip.
