This posh uptown restaurant is without a doubt one of the finest and most elegant restaurants in the city. Chef Mark McEwan serves up indigenous Canadian haute cuisine at its best. This restaurant is not cheap, but it is an experience worth paying for. The menu features meat, seafood, and poultry selections, including Roasted Venison Loin, Grilled Yellow Fin Tuna, Roasted Chicken, and Aged Prime Striploin. The stellar menu is matched by an outstanding wine list that has been winning the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence every year since 1996.
The brightly lit beige and red color scheme adds a sense of dignity and occasion and it is a great place to spot the well heeled and celebrities. Service is professional and refined. Average price per person including tip is roughly $115.
