Home - Penrose Fish and Chips
This Mount Pleasant neighborhood mainstay batters everything except for its delicious fish chowder, which contains healthy chunks of halibut, carrots, corn and celery. The menu is simple. You can have fish or chips or both together. The cole slaw is creamy and fresh and the lemon meringue pie that is offered for desert is home made. This restaurant is not licensed.
The service is fast and has a good sense of humor. Dinner including tip is $20 or less per person.
