Queen of Sheba
This authentic Ethiopian restaurant in Toronto's west end is a large brightly lit and sparely decorated room. However what it makes up for in glamour it makes up for in taste. This family runs restaurant specializes in Ethiopian dishes, including vegetarian or meat platters. Highly recommended is the lamb (an entrée for under $10) and the injera which is a spongey plate sized flat bread that is served with mounds of spicy meats and vegetables.
A nice touch is the Ethiopian coffee, which is served with a stick of incense. The service is professional and the average cost per person is under $25 for a full meal.
