This polished restaurant in Yorkville boasts lots of gleaming wood and a genteel atmosphere. Appetizers include sautéed shrimp \in olive oil and garlic and sweetbreads with port glaze. Recommended entrees include the grilled rack of lamb and the Mediterranean seafood casserole that includes mussels, clams, shrimp and lobster. Tiramasu and peach-pear-apple pie are offered for desert. The lengthy wine list has a broad international scope.
The service is formal and courteous. Dinner costs about $80 per person including the tip.
