This fashionable restaurant filled with romantic lighting and modern paintings on the wall is a great place to go for an expensive intimate meal for two. Chef and co-owner David Lee makes much of seasonal Canadian items, pairing sautéed wild mushrooms with ribbons of duck prosciutto and pan-seared scallops with sweet onion coulis. One of the best dishes is absolutely the fillet of red snapper in tarragon-scented champagne. The restaurant also offers a large cheese menu as well as an extensive variety of exotic desserts including a very exotic pink peppercorn-rhubarb sorbet. The wine list is notable for its half-bottle and digestifs by the glass with a focus high-end California wines.
The service is relaxed, polite and professional. Dinner costs about $120 per person.
